in reality, pit bulls are powerful terriers originally developed for dogfighting and while they are not vicious monsters they do often display traits like dog aggression and high prey drive even if properly trained and socialized.

Anyone who is anti-nuclear is anti-environment. Nuclear is safe, it is clean, and it is even more energy dense than fossil fuels. It might not be truly renewable, but there’s so much energy available that it doesn’t make much of a difference. To try and shut it down is to put down one of your strongest allies in the fight against fossil fuels.
Everytime this comes around again, I remember that there was a push to refit coal power plants to run on nuclear, due to the fact that other than the power source, your still just boiling water so everything else is the same.
They couldn’t get the ok to refit the coal plants tho, because the coal power plants were too radioactive to pass nuclear power plant standards.

Hi I transitioned without even thinking I had dysphoria. Like later in hindsight I can go "oh that's probably what it was" but for the first year of my transition I was straight up like "I like being a guy but I like being a girl WAY more" and you can do that!! There is no prerequisite amount of suffering needed to make yourself happier.

The $11.5M she's donating is about 1/4 if her net worth. Imagine if a billionaire did that? If Mark Zuckerberg donated 1/4 of his net worth, it would be about $55 BILLION... and he's still have over $100 billion left.

Security professional here: Big stores have SO MUCH MORE SECURITY than they used to even 10 years ago, and there is NO WAY TO KNOW IF THEY CAUGHT YOU OR NOT until a cop shows up at your house. It is INSANE. I cannot possibly recommend anyone steal anything they do not absolutely 100% need to survive, and only then because “I needed baby formula” or “this is a $2 toothbrush” has a MUCH better chance of being dropped by the court than “I wanted lip gloss”.
Also, individual big-name stores like Walmart count theft losses collectively because it makes headlines, but CEOs don’t actually lose money when shit goes missing. If someone is stealing waffle irons, the price on remaining waffle irons *might* go up, but other things may happen too to cover that loss. They may just stop selling waffle irons. They might deny full-time positions to part-time staff to make it up in the budget, and part-time staff don’t get medical benefits at most places. They may not get new equipment that quarter.
I am not speaking from a “is it good or bad to steal from the rich” standpoint here. I am telling you that the rich have already cut themselves off from that possibility.
